We are Southern Nevada’s largest homebrew community, dedicated to homebrew and the education of homebrew. We support craft beers, local breweries, and brewing-related events. We aim to educate and enlighten those who have an interest in the science, art, and craft of fermentation.
We hold monthly meetings on the second Friday of the month, at Aces & Ales (alternating between the Nellis and Tenaya locations). Check the Events Calendar for the location of a particular meeting.
Everyone (of legal drinking age) is welcome to attend the meeting (membership is not required.) Feel free to bring some homebrew, or craft beer (especially rare or out-of-area ones) to share.
Club announcements start around 7:30 PM, followed by a social time for sharing homebrew and craft beverages. You will also have the opportunity to put your name in to the bucket for Brew Buddies, where the president will pick pairs of names to match people up for brew days! The meeting ends with a raffle of commercial beers. Raffle tickets are available to purchase, or you may bring commercial beer to donate to the raffle and receive tickets.
SNAFU is active in the Las Vegas community, supporting multiple charities through our participation in numerous local beer festivals where we serve our homebrewed products to the appreciative public. We also promote our club and the beauty of brewing your own beer at these events.
